Daniella C Daniella is a 2011 Brown University graduate, where she studied anthropology and received a Mellon-Mays Undergraduate Fellowship to pursue independent research. Her project focused on female MC’s in baile funk, an immensely popular form of rap/hip hop originating in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.
Daniella is creating a movement workshop and final performance with youth and adult company members at Cia. Dança e Arte in Paraty, RJ. She will also be leading a culinary course with BRAYCE partner Promoçao Social, and teaching intensive English classes at Instituto Nautico.
